SSA announced that coming this Fall, Administrative Law Judge hearings will have the option of virtual (video) hearings rather than telephone only. Since the COVID pandemic began, hearings shifted from in person to telephonic hearings; this new option will be available to claimants who choose it and who have a laptop/smartphone capability with camera.
